Spiders.
Let’s talk about spiders for a moment. My kids are deathly afraid of them, my son clearly tuning out my husband when he reminds him to “take care of Emma and Mama, and kill spiders” before leaving for work. But inevitably there I am, trying desperately to put on my bravest face while my children hide in the corner from that ahwful (that’s Emma’s new word) daddy long legs just minding its own business on the other side of the room. And of course I tell them the poor spider is going for a little swim in the toilet when I dispose of it there in its toilet paper grave but Luke informs me he will look for the spider next time we’re at the beach, where clearly all spiders end up at the end of their ride down the toilet. Good luck with that, Luke.
Someday I plan to ask God why in the world he created spiders?
Well unlike spiders you don’t have to be afraid of menu planning and cooking this week! I’ve got you covered!
Enjoy!
