Quite so.
You’re quite right.
I quite agree.
What do you mean, per se?
I’ve decided to start speaking with an English accent and pretending I’m a main character from Downton Abbey. Is it just me or do they just sound so regal, so sophisticated, so smart. Then I realize that not only do I say “sweet” way too much but my 5 year old megaphone (she’s 5!) has taken to saying “I’m like…” ,”I was all” and “holy smokes.” Having a 5 year old little mirror staring you in the face (and speaking to you) on a daily basis is really quite telling.
Well anyway, I’ve finished season 2 of Downton Abbey and, at the very moment, I’m certain the very best way I could spent this Friday evening is with a glass of wine and episode 1 of season 3.
This week’s pick is one I grabbed at Trader Joes but have seen at most grocery stores as well as Target. It is a Washington red blend consisting of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet and it has won several awards including one in October 2012 from Wine Spectator for its quality and value. It has dark, fruity flavors including berries, cherries and currants with “spice and mocha on the finish”, as described by the winemaker.
So Happy Friday and enjoy this tasty wine, which you can find for $8.99 at Trader Joes or $10-12 at most retailers.
