For your consideration:  Ravenswood Old Vine Zinfandel 2009

This Zin by popular winemaker Ravenswood is well-balanced and robust, with hints of spicy raspberry, cherry and boysenberry.  Enjoy with pasta, poultry, red meats or other intensely-flavored dishes.

$6-8 at most major grocery stores, Target, etc. depending on if you can find it on sale.  I saw it at BevMo for $10 but wouldn’t pay much more than $7 or $8 bucks for it.
