wine friday: rex goliath pinot noir.

IMG_6252

Who can resist a wine with a giant rooster on the label?!

Found this one this week at Target…on sale for $4.99 (usually $6-7 at most grocery stores).

For your consideration, Rex Goliath Pinot Noir:

I love pinot and this one is pretty good – it’s dry with hints of cherry and vanilla.  Very fruity, starts subtle and finishes bold.

Their wine maker recommends pairing with a beef, veal, pork, lamb, chicken or fish.  So pretty much you can drink it with just about any meal.

$4.99 this week at Target or usually $6.49.  I’ve seen it at grocery stores for $6-7.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!  Or pop on over to Facebook and share some of your favorite wine friday moments or pics!

Happy Friday!

  1. I’m a Pinot Noir fan as well as a Rex Goliath fan. I live in rural NW Pennsylvania and can usually find the Rex Goliath reds and whites “on sale” in our “Wine & Spirits” stores. I’ve enjoyed them all!
